5. Film sample 1- Heavens feel.- Heavens feel embodies Dark fantasy in the most literal sense. It is set in a fantasy world, but everything is in despair, this is due to holy grail wars that occur every decade. This leads to dozens of murders and deaths. In heavens feel, 7 Mystical warriors from several different periods are summoned and are assigned to people, deemed servants, but these servants are bad people so lots of bloodshed occurs due to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLFft5PCt7M

6. Film sample 2- My Hero academia: Judging by the title you can assume that this show would be just a happy school life thing. However this is the opposite. In my hero academia, society is a "quirk" filled society; Quirks are uncanny abilities humans posses and everyone's dream is to become a top hero. However when catastrophic disaster arises many heros give up and flee, and the main protagonists in the show are first years in high school. They see as heros give up, die, or submit. The main character is man named Izuku midoriya, and the main antagonist is named Tomura Shigaraki. Izuku is the only one with enough heart in his society to keep going in a dreadful future society. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKlxg-q6UJ0

Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World

The construction of Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World is done in a on location shooting. Its shot in California, Hawaii, New Zealand, and Queensland, Australia. Mainly in the forest where everything is dark and ominous. This allows for scary moments or suspenseful moments in the film. The Lost World, Jurassic Park is a 1997 film about a team that visits Isla Sorna, a secluded island where dinosaurs roam free, to document the prehistoric animals. The film is set four years after the events of the original Jurassic Park.

The Dinosaurs in this film are disgustingly stereotyped. Such as the T-Rex for example, it's made to look big, and scaly. The T-rex can't see you unless you move is the stupidest stereotype I've ever heard and I people still believing this is a bad thing. People who watched this film believed every word that John Hammond (the founder of Jurassic park) said. In reality, the Tyrannosaurus Rex had one of the best eye visions to any land animal paleontologists have ever know. It doesn't need its pray to be moving for it to spot you, even if this were true, the Tyrannosaurus has (again) one of the best sense of smell. The same goes for the Velociraptor, it's human sized and scaly (yet again) to make it more intimidating. The Velociraptor is the size of your arm, and it was covered in feathers.

The two main characters of this film was Ian Malcom, and Dr. Sarah Harding. With Jurassic park abandoned, Isla sorna became infested with poachers. The poachers in this film are represented in a way that is supposed to make them look intimidating with their guns, this is mostly true. Except for the fact that ALL of them are bald and wear sunhats! With a fully fed ego after killing one dinosaur, they attempt to go after the T-rex's baby (showing them as someone who preys on the weak). This results in their downfall as one by one they get ripped apart by the parental T-Rex's.

Sound Project

Here is everything that I learned/ did on my sound project.

What I learned was a few vocab words such as, Synchronous sound and Asynchronous sound. Synchronous sound means that the sound is synchronized with what is being viewed, as Asynchronous sound is the opposite; Sound that doesn't match the source on screen.

For the directions, we were prompted into brainstorming for 1-2 minutes, and to compose a scene that could happen in the literal span of 1-2 minutes. We were only allowed to use 7 words throughout the entire project. We had to create some of our own sounds for this project to practice the art of foley.

During brainstorming, I thought of the idea of a kid who wasn't prepared for a test and was heading to the class. It was a simple approach to this assignment, however I have simple minded people working with me (Sorry partner)

Three files were to be turned in, one as editing evidence, one as the process of making the foley sounds, and the full project.

I outlined my sounds with different shots so I could quickly identify which sound was which, this made it quicker to navigate my sounds.

As much as I hate to admit it, I don't own premiere pro, so I was forced to use Capcut. (dun dun dun)

Overall I do think my sounds could have been better, but I do think that the project was a success. (YIPPEE!)
